That probably was the highlight of our trip to Osaka and Nagoya. After a miserable time at Universal Studio in Osaka, Legoland was a breath of fresh air. No need to turn over your wallet to them and queue incessantly for every section and ride.
I was excited about Legoland because i knew the kids would love it. We booked everything online on the Legoland website. A pirate themed room plus access to the attractions. For the kids, it was love at first sight. You can literally see it from the highway on the way there.
Their carpark was massive with multiple storeys. There’s a bridge connecting it to Legoland. Be mindful that the walk is not sheltered and it is at least a 10-minute walk to the hotel. I would suggest dropping your luggage at the hotel first before parking your car and walking back.
As soon you walk in, kids have immediate access to a fountain of legos at the lobby. First floor, second floor, all decked in legos and fun stuff. Makes you want to be a kid. They had the cutest lift.
The attractions are right across the hotel. Highly recommend staying at their hotel for convenience. Most rides are accessible to toddlers and above except two which were for older kids. We spent a couple of days going through everything. Kids loved it. Parents loved it. The place provided a good base to drive around.
What I would do differently is to go to Nagashima Spaland. The amusement park famous for its Steel Dragon 2000 roller coaster is only a few minutes drive away. We’ll save it for next time, because there will definitely be a next time!
